2025 Coaches Clinic

The 2025 WFSCA Coaches Clinic will be held February 1 and 2 at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. 

Membership & Clinic Registration and more information will be available in late December.

2025 Speaker Lineup - 

*Ashley Burkhardt - owner of Ashley Burhardt Training, played at Purdue University

*Doug Gillis - Pitching Coach - University of Evansville, former Team USA Pitcher

*Cassie Reilly-Boccia - co-owner of Athletes Warehouse & Founder of the Softball Strength Academy, played at the University of Alabama

 

 

BORDER BATTLE

The top players from each state recently competed in the Wisconsin/Minnesota Border Battle.

Team Wisconsin loses two close games to Team Minnesota in the 2024 Border Battle.

Game One

Team Minnesota scored a run in the top of the 8th inning to defeat Team Wisconsin 2-1.  Wisconsin out hit Minnesota 5 hits to 4 with Taryn Christopher, Tayler Baker, Greta Grassel, Saveea Freeland and Gwen Baker each collecting hits. Cassidy Gall had the lone RBI and also took the loss giving up 2 runs on 4 hits with 2 walks, striking out 3.  Gabby Fakes pitched one inning of relief giving up 0 hits and 0 runs. 

Game Two

Team Minnesota scored one run in the 1st and two in the bottom of the 5th inning to beat Team Wisconsin 3-2. Wisconsin again out hit Team Minnesota 8 hits to 7, but still came up short. Gabby Fakes and Mia Buske led Wisconsin with 2 hits each.  Lila McNeill, Makenna Johnston, Rylee Spindler and Cassidy Gall each added a hit. Spindler drove in both Wisconsin runs in the top of the 4th inning.  Gwen Baker took the loss giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, striking out three and walking none.  Gabby Fakes pitched one inning of relief, giving up 0 hits and struck out one.
