DEBBIE MALUEG

Debbie Malueg currently coaches the Marion softball team. She has coached from 1974 to 1981, 1983 to 2000, and 2004 to present. Debbie tops all coaches with six state championships in 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991, and 1992. Her teams have won 11 conference titles and made 8 state tournament appearances. Her current record as a head coach is 391 wins and 181 losses. Debbie gives a lot of credit to her assistants and volunteers who have taught Marion softball players their fundamentals before they came to her. Without them and the commitment of parents and the community there would be no “Marion Softball.”
